Terrance

At 13 years old, I started working in the construction industry with my uncle, whose guidance and work ethic instilled in me the importance of always doing my best. By the age of 16, I had my own subcontracting business specializing in drywall.

After serving my country in the Marine Corps and attending college, I pursued a career in professional track, even competing in the Olympic trials. Through perseverance, hard work, and dedication, I built a successful  company from the ground up and by the age of 27, I had successfully sold my first construction company.

Following a few years of retirement, I launched a general contracting business, serving hundreds of families over the course of 20-plus years. As I gained more experience, I discovered a passion for creating backyard dreams for people. This shift in focus proved to be immensely enjoyable and rewarding, as it allowed me to help bring families closer together.

Inspired by this newfound passion, I founded Beyond Backyard Living, a specialized backyard living and concrete company dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces into luxurious retreats. Our mission is to provide the highest quality service, ensuring that every project is executed with precision, creativity, and a deep understanding of our clients’ visions. At Beyond Backyard Living, we are committed to excellence and craftsmanship, creating stunning and functional outdoor environments that bring joy and togetherness to families.

She is an invaluable member of our team, seamlessly balancing her role both onsite and offsite as a vibrant saleswoman. Not only does she oversee the progress of projects in person, but she also fosters a welcoming atmosphere when engaging with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met with care and attentiveness. Her warm presence and excellent communication skills help build strong relationships, making clients feel valued and understood. Through her dedication and passion for our work, she effectively promotes our services, embodying the spirit and mission of our company in every interaction.

Tristan

He is a key player in our team, expertly managing initial consultations to ensure a seamless start to each project. Beyond his role in consultations, he offers hands-on support onsite, meticulously overseeing every detail to guarantee timely completion. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the project site, as he also serves as a skilled salesman offsite. By bridging communication and operations, he ensures our clients’ visions are realized efficiently and effectively, embodying dedication and professionalism in every aspect of his work.

Vickie

She is our head 3D designer, expertly crafting detailed renderings to ensure our clients are thrilled with their projects. By offering unique insights, she transforms initial ideas into visually stunning representations, allowing clients to visualize their dream spaces before they come to life. This process not only guarantees satisfaction but also provides a collaborative platform for tailoring designs to meet individual preferences.
